1) God did not allow the body of Jesus to decay Act_13:34 God raised him from the dead so that he will never be subject to decay. As God has said, “‘I will give you the holy and sure blessings promised to David.’

2) God raised the Spirit of Jesus and also the body of Jesus so that the people would be able to see Him and recognized Him and not thinking that they were seeing a Ghost but Jesus Himself as they knew Him while he was with them.

3) But you must understand that God is God the creator of everything and everyone and the physical body of Jesus was not raised a normal physical body but a body that could change as God and Jesus wanted it to be for that specific moment. One moment His body could be touched and the next moment it could move through walls and the next moment appears or disappears, be seen or unseen.

Luk 24:15 As they talked and discussed these things with each other, Jesus himself came up and walked along with them;

Luk 24:16 but they were kept from recognizing him.

Luk 24:35 Then the two told what had happened on the way, and how Jesus was recognized by them when he broke the bread.

Luk 24:36 While they were still talking about this, Jesus himself stood among them and said to them, “Peace be with you.”

Luk 24:37 They were startled and frightened, thinking they saw a ghost.

Luk 24:38 He said to them, “Why are you troubled, and why do doubts rise in your minds?

Luk 24:39 Look at my hands and my feet. It is I myself! Touch me and see; a ghost does not have flesh and bones, as you see I have.”

Joh 20:19 On the evening of that first day of the week, when the disciples were together, with the doors locked for fear of the Jewish leaders, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you!”

Luk 24:30 When he was at the table with them, he took bread, gave thanks, broke it and began to give it to them.

Luk 24:31 Then their eyes were opened and they recognized him, and he disappeared from their sight.

4) When Jesus went up to heaven, He did not go up in his physical body but in His heavenly spiritual body

5) God is Spirit and Jesus is Spirit

6) When your spirit leaves your body , your spirit do look the same as your physical body but it is a spiritual body .

7) It is only in this world where your spirit have the opportunity to be living in a physical body

8) In the spiritual world your body will be spirit as you are spirit .

As the Spirit of Jesus Did not die when he gave up His Spirit, your spirit also will not die when your body dies , but be raised to continue to live forever either in paradise or hades until judgment day and on the day of judgment your spirit will live in heaven or in hell forever . For the righteous Christians who will be taken up with the second coming of Jesus means eternal life in heaven . For the wicked and unbeliever , their sentence on judgement day will be a second death and it means eternal life of hell in the lake of fire , lake of burning sulphur for ever .The spirit never dies .

1Co 15:12 But if it is preached that Christ has been raised from the dead, how can some of you say that there is no resurrection of the dead?

1Co 15:13 If there is no resurrection of the dead, then not even Christ has been raised.

1Co 15:14 And if Christ has not been raised, our preaching is useless and so is your faith.

1Co 15:15 More than that, we are then found to be false witnesses about God, for we have testified about God that he raised Christ from the dead. But he did not raise him if in fact the dead are not raised.

1Co 15:16 For if the dead are not raised, then Christ has not been raised either.

1Co 15:17 And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins.

1Co 15:18 Then those also who have fallen asleep in Christ are lost.

1Co 15:19 If only for this life we have hope in Christ, we are of all people most to be pitied.

1Co 15:20 But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep.

1Co 15:21 For since death came through a man, the resurrection of the dead comes also through a man.

1Co 15:22 For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive.

1Th 1:10 and to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead–Jesus, who rescues us from the coming wrath.

Rom 8:11 And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of his Spirit who lives in you.

1Co 15:40 There are also heavenly bodies and there are earthly bodies; but the splendor of the heavenly bodies is one kind, and the splendor of the earthly bodies is another.

1Co 15:41 The sun has one kind of splendor, the moon another and the stars another; and star differs from star in splendor.

1Co 15:42 So will it be with the resurrection of the dead. The body that is sown is perishable, it is raised imperishable;

1Co 15:43 it is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory; it is sown in weakness, it is raised in power;

1Co 15:44 it is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body. If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body.

1Co 15:45 So it is written: “The first man Adam became a living being”; the last Adam, a life-giving spirit.

1Co 15:46 The spiritual did not come first, but the natural, and after that the spiritual.

1Co 15:47 The first man was of the dust of the earth; the second man is of heaven.

1Co 15:48 As was the earthly man, so are those who are of the earth; and as is the heavenly man, so also are those who are of heaven.

1Co 15:49 And just as we have borne the image of the earthly man, so shall we bear the image of the heavenly man.

1Co 15:50 I declare to you, brothers and sisters, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable.

1Jn 3:2 Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when Christ appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is.

The spirits of the righteous Christians are going to paradise where they will be waiting for judgment day. On the day of judgment, they will go to the New Jerusalem in heaven

Their spirits will go to a place called Hades where they will be waiting for judgment day -it is a place of pain and suffering. On the day of judgment, they will be sent to the place of burning sulfur, called hell. It is also called the second death. There they will be with their god, Magog the Devil who deceived them while they were in this world.

Rev_20:10 And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

Rev_21:8 But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars–they will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death.”

The so called “rapture” and the second coming of Jesus

Many people like to see or to describe the second coming of Jesus as a “rapture” that is going to take place . It only means that when Jesus will be coming to take the righteous Christians from this world , the spirits of the people are just going to leave their bodies without a death taking place as we know it when a person dies . Your spirit will leave your body and you will be in spirit and as a spirit and will be with Jesus who is Spirit where He will be up in the sky and visible to you as a spirit with your spiritual eyes .Jesus will never be a physical person again and never put his foot on this earth again .

Php 3:20 But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ,

Php 3:21 who, by the power that enables him to bring everything under his control, will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body.

1Jn 3:2 Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when Christ appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is.

1Co 15:51 Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed–

1Co 15:52 in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.

1Co 15:53 For the perishable must clothe itself with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality.

1Co 15:54 When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: “Death has been swallowed up in victory.”

1Th 4:16 For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first.

1Th 4:17 After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever.

The Lord Is Spirit and so will we be a spirit

2Co 3:17 Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.

2Co 3:18 And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.
