MINISTRY OF THE SPIRIT (teaching two)

ETERNAL LIFE BEGINS WITH JESUS OUR SAVIOUR WHO MADE IT POSSIBLE FOR US TO BECOME RIGHTEOUS AGAIN AND TO STAY RIGHTEOUS.

RIGHTEOUSNESS LEADS TO HOLINESS THAT LEADS TO ETERNAL LIFE

GOD SENT JESUS FROM HEAVEN TO IMPLEMENT THE NEW COVENANT

JESUS THE MEDIATOR OF THE NEW COVENANT ( AS was PROMISED/PROPHISIED DURING THE TIME OF THE OLD TESTAMENT)

1Ti_2:5  For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus,

Heb_9:15  For this reason Christ is the mediator of a new covenant, that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance–now that he has died as a ransom to set them free from the sins committed under the first covenant.

Heb_12:24  to Jesus the mediatorof a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel.

(((Psa 40:6  Sacrifice and offering you did not desire– but my ears you have opened– burnt offerings and sin offerings you did not require.

Psa 40:7  Then I said, “Here I am, I have come– it is written about me in the scroll.

Psa 40:8  I desire to do your will, my God; your law is within my heart.”

Psa 40:9  I proclaim your saving acts in the great assembly; I do not seal my lips, LORD, as you know.

Psa 40:10  I do not hide your righteousness in my heart; I speak of your faithfulness and your saving help. I do not conceal your love and your faithfulness from the great assembly.))))

Heb 10:4  It is impossible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins.

Heb 10:5  Therefore, when Christ came into the world, he said: “Sacrifice and offering you did not desire, but a body you prepared for me;

Heb 10:6  with burnt offerings and sin offerings you were not pleased.

Heb 10:7  Then I said, ‘Here I am–it is written about me in the scroll– I have come to do your will, my God.'”

Heb 10:8  First he said, “Sacrifices and offerings, burnt offerings and sin offerings you did not desire, nor were you pleased with them”–though they were offered in accordance with the law.

Heb 10:9  Then he said, “Here I am, I have come to do your will.” He sets aside the first to establish the second.

GOD SENT JESUS

Joh_5:23  that all may honor the Son just as they honor the Father. Whoever does not honor the Son does not honor the Father, who sent him.

Joh_5:36  “I have testimony weightier than that of John. For the works that the Father has given me to finish–the very works that I am doing–testify that the Father has sent me.

Joh_5:37  And the Father who sent me has himself testified concerning me. You have never heard his voice nor seen his form,

Joh 3:16  For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Joh_6:57  Just as the living Father sent me and I live because of the Father, so the one who feeds on me will live because of me.

JESUS ALWAYS OBEYE GOD ,IN HEAVEN AND WHILE HE WAS IN THIS WORLD ,

AND SHOWED THE PEOPLE AND US WHAT IT MEANS TO HAVE FAITH IN GOD

Heb_12:2  fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Php_2:8  And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death-– even death on a cross!

Joh 14:30  I will not say much more to you, for the prince of this world is coming. He has no hold over me,

Joh_14:31but he comes so that the world may learn that I lovethe Father and do exactly whatmy Father has commanded me. “Come now; let us leave.

WE MUST BELIEVE THE GOOD NEWS ABOUT JESUS

Luk_11:28  He replied, “Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and obey it.”

Joh_6:29  Jesus answered, “The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent.”

Rom_1:16  For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile.

Mar_16:16  Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.

Act_16:31  They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved–you and your household.”

Rom 10:8  But what does it say? “The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart,” that is, the message concerning faith that we proclaim:

Rom 10:9  If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

Rom 10:10  For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.

Rom 10:11  As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame.”

WE MUST BE BORN AGAIN

You must receive Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior

You just need to make a simple decision to repent from your old ways of sin and death, asking Jesus for forgiveness of your sins , the blood of Jesus cleanse you from all unrighteousness. YOU HAVE BEEN MADE RIGHTEOUS BY BELEIVING THE GOOD NEWS ABOUT JESUS AS YOUR SAVIOR AND RECEIVING HIM AS YOUR SAVIOR AND LORD OF YOUR LIFE. Rom_3:22  This righteousness is given through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference between Jew and Gentile,

Act_4:12  Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.”

Joh_3:3  Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.”

Joh 3:5  Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit.

Joh 3:6  Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit.

Joh 3:7  You should not be surprised at my saying, ‘You must be born again.’

Joh 3:8  The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.”

JESUS WAS WITH GOD FROM THE BEGINNING AND HAS THE AUTHORITY TO FORGIVE SINS:

Mar_2:10  But I want you to know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins.” So he said to the man,

Heb_8:12  For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more.” (((Heb_9:15  For this reason Christ is the mediator of a new covenant, that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance–now that he has died as a ransom to set them free from the sins committed under the first covenant. 2Pe_1:9  But whoever does not have them is nearsighted and blind, forgetting that they have been cleansed from their past sins.))

1Jn_1:9  If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.

Mar_2:10  But I want you to know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins.” So he said to the man,

Col_1:15  The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.

Heb_1:6  And again, when God brings his firstborn into the world, he says, “Let all God’s angels worship him.”

Joh 1:1  In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Joh 1:2  He was with God in the beginning.

Joh 1:3  Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.

Joh 1:4  In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind.

Joh 1:5  The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.

THE WORD OF GOD TEACHES US HOW TO STAY RIGHTEOUS / KEEP ON BEING RIGHTEOUS AND THE HOLY SPIRIT IS THE NEW LAW OF THE NEW COVENANT WRITTEN ON OUR HEARTS AND MINDS AS PROMISED.

REMEMBER at first you did nothing to become righteous but now it is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO KEEP ON BEING RIGHTEOUS.

YOU ARE NOT ALONE TO FIGHT THIS BATTLE AGAINST THE DEVIL, THE BATTLE NOT TO SIN AND TO HOLD ON TO YOUR RIGHTEOUSNESS

((((THE DEVIL WILL ALWAYS TRY TO DECEIVE YOU SO THAT HE COULD BE YOUR GOD

Jas 4:7  Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

1Ti_6:12  Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses.

2Ti_4:7  I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.

1Ti_6:11  But you, man of God, flee from all this, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance and gentleness.

2Ti_2:22  Flee the evil desires of youth and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.

2Pe 2:1  But there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the sovereign Lord who bought them–bringing swift destruction on themselves.

2Pe 2:2  Many will follow their depraved conduct and will bring the way of truth into disrepute.

2Pe 2:3  In their greed these teachers will exploit you with fabricated stories. Their condemnation has long been hanging over them, and their destruction has not been sleeping.

2Pe 2:4  For if God did not spare angels when they sinned, but sent them to hell, putting them in chains of darkness to be held for judgment;

2Pe 2:5  if he did not spare the ancient world when he brought the flood on its ungodly people, but protected Noah, a preacher of righteousness, and seven others;

2Pe 2:6  if he condemned the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah by burning them to ashes, and made them an example of what is going to happen to the ungodly;

2Pe 2:7  and if he rescued Lot, a righteous man, who was distressed by the depraved conduct of the lawless

2Pe 2:8  (for that righteous man, living among them day after day, was tormented in his righteous soul by the lawless deeds he saw and heard)–

2Pe 2:9  if this is so, then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trials and to hold the unrighteous for punishment on the day of judgment.

2Pe 2:10  This is especially true of those who follow the corrupt desire of the flesh and despise authority. Bold and arrogant, they are not afraid to heap abuse on celestial beings;

2Pe 2:11  yet even angels, although they are stronger and more powerful, do not heap abuse on such beings when bringing judgment on them from the Lord.

2Pe 2:12  But these people blaspheme in matters they do not understand. They are like unreasoning animals, creatures of instinct, born only to be caught and destroyed, and like animals they too will perish.

2Pe 2:13  They will be paid back with harm for the harm they have done. Their idea of pleasure is to carouse in broad daylight. They are blots and blemishes, reveling in their pleasures while they feast with you.

2Pe 2:14  With eyes full of adultery, they never stop sinning; they seduce the unstable; they are experts in greed–an accursed brood!

2Pe 2:15  They have left the straight way and wandered off to follow the way of Balaam son of Bezer, who loved the wages of wickedness.

2Pe 2:16  But he was rebuked for his wrongdoing by a donkey–an animal without speech–who spoke with a human voice and restrained the prophet’s madness.

2Pe 2:17  These people are springs without water and mists driven by a storm. Blackest darkness is reserved for them.

2Pe 2:18  For they mouth empty, boastful words and, by appealing to the lustful desires of the flesh, they entice people who are just escaping from those who live in error.

2Pe 2:19  They promise them freedom, while they themselves are slaves of depravity–for “people are slaves to whatever has mastered them.”

2Pe 2:20  If they have escaped the corruption of the world by knowing our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and are again entangled in it and are overcome, they are worse off at the end than they were at the beginning.

2Pe 2:21  It would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than to have known it and then to turn their backs on the sacred command that was passed on to them.

2Pe 2:22  Of them the proverbs are true: “A dog returns to its vomit,” and, “A sow that is washed returns to her wallowing in the mud.”

Eze 3:20  “Again, when a righteous person turns from their righteousness and does evil, and I put a stumbling block before them, they will die. Since you did not warn them, they will die for their sin. The righteous things that person did will not be remembered, and I will hold you accountable for their blood.

Eze 3:21  But if you do warn the righteous person not to sin and they do not sin, they will surely live because they took warning, and you will have saved yourself.”))))
