THE PRAYER JESUS PRAYED EXPLAINS THAT WE ALSO HAVE TO BECOME ONE WITH GOD AND JESUS IN PERFECT UNITY OF LOVE

Joh_17:11  I will remain in the world no longer, but they are still in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, protect them by the power of your name, the name you gave me, so that they may be one as we are one.

Joh 17:20  “My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message,

Joh 17:21  that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me.

Joh_17:22  I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one—

Joh 17:23  I in them and you in me–so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.

Col 3:12  Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.

Col 3:13  Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.

Col_3:14  And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.

IF YOU DO NOT LIVE IN LOVE

1Jn 2:9  Anyone who claims to be in the light but hates a brother or sister is still in the darkness.

1Jn 2:10  Anyone who loves their brother and sister lives in the light, and there is nothing in them to make them stumble.

1Jn 2:11  But anyone who hates a brother or sister is in the darkness and walks around in the darkness. They do not know where they are going, because the darkness has blinded them.

1Jn_4:8  Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.

1Jn 3:14  We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love each other. Anyone who does not love remains in death.

1Jn 3:15  Anyone who hates a brother or sister is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life residing in him.

1Jn 3:16  This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters.

1Jn 3:17  If anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in that person?

1Jn 4:20  Whoever claims to love God yet hates a brother or sister is a liar. For whoever does not love their brother and sister, whom they have seen, cannot love God, whom they have not seen.

LOVE WITH ACTIONS/DEEDS AND IN TRUTH

1Ti_1:5  The goal of this command is love, which comes from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith.

Gal_5:6  For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any value. The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love.

1Jn 3:18  Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.

Heb 10:24  And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds,

Gal_5:22  But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,

Eph_1:4  For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love

Eph_1:15  For this reason, ever since I heard about your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all God’s people,

Eph_2:4  But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy,

Eph_3:17  so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love,

Eph_4:2  Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.

Eph_4:15  Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ.

Eph_4:16  From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.

Eph_5:2  and walk in the way of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.

Eph_5:25  Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her

Eph_5:28  In this same way, husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself.

Heb_6:10  God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them.

Heb_10:24  And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds,

2Pe 1:5  For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge;

2Pe 1:6  and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness;

2Pe 1:7  and to godliness, mutual affection; and to mutual affection, love.

2Pe 1:8  For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

2Pe 1:9  But whoever does not have them is nearsighted and blind, forgetting that they have been cleansed from their past sins.

2Pe 1:10  Therefore, my brothers and sisters, make every effort to confirm your calling and election. For if you do these things, you will never stumble,

2Pe 1:11  and you will receive a rich welcome into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Jas 2:14  What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save them?

Jas 2:15  Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food.

Jas 2:16  If one of you says to them, “Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it?

Jas 2:17  In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.

Jas 2:18  But someone will say, “You have faith; I have deeds.” Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by my deeds.

Jas 2:19  You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that–and shudder.

Jas 2:20  You foolish person, do you want evidence that faith without deeds is useless?

Jas 2:21  Was not our father Abraham considered righteous for what he did when he offered his son Isaac on the altar?

Jas 2:22  You see that his faith and his actions were working together, and his faith was made complete by what he did.

Jas 2:23  And the scripture was fulfilled that says, “Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness,” and he was called God’s friend.

Jas 2:24  You see that  a person is considered righteous by what they do and not by faith alone.

Jas 2:25  In the same way, was not even Rahab the prostitute considered righteous for what she did when she gave lodging to the spies and sent them off in a different direction?

Jas 2:26  As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without deeds is dead

Jas 3:13  Who is wise and understanding among you? Let them show it by their good life, by deeds done in the humility that comes from wisdom.

Jas 3:14  But if you harbor bitter envy and selfish ambition in your hearts, do not boast about it or deny the truth.

Jas 3:15  Such “wisdom” does not come down from heaven but is earthly, unspiritual, demonic.

Jas 3:16  For where you have envy and selfish ambition, there you find disorder and every evil practice.

Jas 3:17  But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere.

Jas 3:18  Peacemakers who sow in peace reap a harvest of righteousness.

LOVE WITH ACTIONS/DEEDS TO BE RIGHTEOUS AS GOD WANTS YOU TO BE

Mat 25:1 “At that time the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom.
Mat 25:2 Five of them were foolish and five were wise.
Mat 25:3 The foolish ones took their lamps but did not take any oil with them.
Mat 25:4 The wise ones, however, took oil in jars along with their lamps.
Mat 25:5 The bridegroom was a long time in coming, and they all became drowsy and fell asleep.
Mat 25:6 “At midnight the cry rang out: ‘Here’s the bridegroom! Come out to meet him!’
Mat 25:7 “Then all the virgins woke up and trimmed their lamps.
Mat 25:8 The foolish ones said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil; our lamps are going out.’
Mat 25:9 “‘No,’ they replied, ‘there may not be enough for both us and you. Instead, go to those who sell oil and buy some for yourselves.’
Mat 25:10 “But while they were on their way to buy the oil, the bridegroom arrived. The virgins who were ready went in with him to the wedding banquet. And the door was shut.
Mat 25:11 “Later the others also came. ‘Lord, Lord,’ they said, ‘open the door for us!’
Mat 25:12 “But he replied, ‘Truly I tell you, I don’t know you.’
Mat 25:13 “Therefore keep watch, because you do not know the day or the hour.
Mat 25:14 “Again, it will be like a man going on a journey, who called his servants and entrusted his wealth to them.
Mat 25:15 To one he gave five bags of gold, to another two bags, and to another one bag, each according to his ability. Then he went on his journey.
Mat 25:16 The man who had received five bags of gold went at once and put his money to work and gained five bags more.
Mat 25:17 So also, the one with two bags of gold gained two more.
Mat 25:18 But the man who had received one bag went off, dug a hole in the ground and hid his master’s money.
Mat 25:19 “After a long time the master of those servants returned and settled accounts with them.
Mat 25:20 The man who had received five bags of gold brought the other five. ‘Master,’ he said, ‘you entrusted me with five bags of gold. See, I have gained five more.’
Mat 25:21 “His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’
Mat 25:22 “The man with two bags of gold also came. ‘Master,’ he said, ‘you entrusted me with two bags of gold; see, I have gained two more.’
Mat 25:23 “His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’
Mat 25:24 “Then the man who had received one bag of gold came. ‘Master,’ he said, ‘I knew that you are a hard man, harvesting where you have not sown and gathering where you have not scattered seed.
Mat 25:25 So I was afraid and went out and hid your gold in the ground. See, here is what belongs to you.’
Mat 25:26 “His master replied, ‘You wicked, lazy servant! So you knew that I harvest where I have not sown and gather where I have not scattered seed?
Mat 25:27 Well then, you should have put my money on deposit with the bankers, so that when I returned I would have received it back with interest.
Mat 25:28 “‘So take the bag of gold from him and give it to the one who has ten bags.
Mat 25:29 For whoever has will be given more, and they will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what they have will be taken from them.
Mat 25:30 And throw that worthless servant outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’
Mat 25:31 “When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his glorious throne.
Mat 25:32 All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats.
Mat 25:33 He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left.
Mat 25:34 “Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world.
Mat 25:35 For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in,
Mat 25:36 I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’
Mat 25:37 “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink?
Mat 25:38 When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you?
Mat 25:39 When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’
Mat 25:40 “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’
Mat 25:41 “Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels.
Mat 25:42 For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink,
Mat 25:43 I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.’
Mat 25:44 “They also will answer, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?’
Mat 25:45 “He will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.’
Mat 25:46 “Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life.”

IF YOU KEEP ON SINNING GOD, JESUS AND THE HOLY SPIRIT  WILL NOT BE IN YOU

Act 5:32  We are witnesses of these things, and so is the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey him.”

1Jn 3:6  No one who lives in him keeps on sinning. No one who continues to sin has either seen him or known him.

1Jn 3:7  Dear children, do not let anyone lead you astray. The one who does what is right is righteous, just as he is righteous.

1Jn 3:8  The one who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil’s work.

1Jn 3:9  No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God’s seed remains in them; they cannot go on sinning, because they have been born of God.

1Jn 3:10  This is how we know who the children of God are and who the children of the devil are: Anyone who does not do what is right is not God’s child, nor is anyone who does not love their brother and sister.

Heb 6:4  It is impossible for those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, who have shared in the Holy Spirit,

Heb 6:5  who have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the coming age

Heb 6:6  and who have fallen away, to be brought back to repentance. To their loss they are crucifying the Son of God all over again and subjecting him to public disgrace.

Heb 6:7  Land that drinks in the rain often falling on it and that produces a crop useful to those for whom it is farmed receives the blessing of God.

Heb 6:8  But land that produces thorns and thistles is worthless and is in danger of being cursed. In the end it will be burned.

Heb 10:24  And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds,

Heb 10:25  not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another–and all the more as you see the Day approaching.

Heb 10:26  If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left,

Heb 10:27  but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire that will consume the enemies of God.

Heb 10:28  Anyone who rejected the law of Moses died without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses.

Heb 10:29  How much more severely do you think someone deserves to be punished who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, who has treated as an unholy thing the blood of the covenant that sanctified them, and who has insulted the Spirit of grace?

Heb 10:30  For we know him who said, “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,” and again, “The Lord will bjudge his people.”

Heb 10:31  It is a dreadful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

1Jn 5:17  All wrongdoing is sin, and there is sin that does not lead to death.

1Jn 5:18  We know that anyone born of God does not continue to sin; the One who was born of God keeps them safe, and the evil one cannot harm them.

3Jn 1:11  Dear friend, do not imitate what is evil but what is good. Anyone who does what is good is from God. Anyone who does what is evil has not seen God.

DO NOT LOVE THE WORLD OR ANYTHING IN THE WORLD

1Jn 2:15  Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in them.

1Jn 2:16  For everything in the world–the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life–comes not from the Father but from the world.

1Jn 2:17  The world and its desires pass away, but whoever does the will of God lives forever.

1Jn 5:19  We know that we are children of God, and that the whole world is under the control of the Rom 8:12  Therefore, brothers and sisters, we have an obligation–but it is not to the flesh, to live according to it.

Rom 8:13  For if you live according to the flesh, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live. evil one.

Rom_12:9  Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good.

2Ti 3:1  But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days.

2Ti 3:2  People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy,

2Ti 3:3  without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good,

2Ti 3:4  treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God–

2Ti 3:5  having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people.

2Ti 3:6  They are the kind who worm their way into homes and gain control over gullible women, who are loaded down with sins and are swayed by all kinds of evil desires,

2Ti 3:7  always learning but never able to come to a knowledge of the truth.

Jas 4:3  When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures.

Jas 4:4  You adulterous people, don’t you know that friendship with the world means enmity against God? Therefore, anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God.

Rom_7:5  For when we were in the realm of the flesh, the sinful passions aroused by the law were at work in us, so that we bore fruit for death.

Rom_8:4  in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fully met in us, who do not live according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.

Rom_8:5  Those who live according to the flesh have their minds set on what the flesh desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires.

Rom_8:6  The mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace.

Rom_8:7  The mind governed by the flesh is hostile to God; it does not submit to God’s law, nor can it do so.

Rom_8:8  Those who are in the realm of the flesh cannot please God.

Rom_8:9  You, however, are not in the realm of the flesh but are in the realm of the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, they do not belong to Christ.

Rom_8:12  Therefore, brothers and sisters, we have an obligation–but it is not to the flesh, to live according to it.

Rom_8:13  For if you live according to the flesh, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live.

Rom_13:14  Rather, clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and do not think about how to gratify the desires of the flesh.

Gal_5:17  For the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. They are in conflict with each other, so that you are not to do whatever you want.

Gal_5:19  The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery;

Gal_5:24  Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.

Gal_6:8  Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.

1Jn_2:16  For everything in the world–the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life–comes not from the Father but from the world.

Mat_6:24  “No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.

1Ti_6:10  For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.

Heb_13:5  Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.”

YOU MUST OVERCOME THE WORLD TO BE VICTORIOUS

1Jn 5:4  for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith.

1Jn 5:5  Who is it that overcomes the world? Only the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God.

Jas 4:7  Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

Jas 4:8  Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.

Rev_2:26  To the one who is victorious and does my will to the end, I will give authority over the nations—

Rev_15:2  And I saw what looked like a sea of glass glowing with fire and, standing beside the sea, those who had been victorious over the beast and its image and over the number of its name. They held harps given them by God

LOVE

Rom_12:9  Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good.

Rom_12:10  Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves.

Rom_13:8  Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law.

Rom_13:9  The commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not covet,” and whatever other command there may be, are summed up in this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”

Rom_13:10  Love does no harm to a neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.

1Co_13:1  If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal.

1Co_13:2  If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing.

1Co_13:3  If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.

1Co_13:4  Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.

1Co_13:6  Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.

1Co_13:8  Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.

1Co_13:13  And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

1Co_14:1  Follow the way of love and eagerly desire gifts of the Spirit, especially prophecy.

1Co_16:14  Do everything in love.

1Co_16:22  If anyone does not love the Lord, let that person be cursed! Come, Lord!

Php_1:9  And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight,

WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO THE UNBELIEVERS

Jud 1:5  Though you already know all this, I want to remind you that the Lord at one time delivered his people out of Egypt, but later destroyed those who did not believe.

Jud 1:6  And the angels who did not keep their positions of authority but abandoned their proper dwelling–these he has kept in darkness, bound with everlasting chains for judgment on the great Day.

Jud 1:7  In a similar way, Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding towns gave themselves up to sexual immorality and perversion. They serve as an example of those who suffer the punishment of eternal fire.

Jud 1:14  Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied about them: “See, the Lord is coming with thousands upon thousands of his holy ones

Jud 1:15  to judge everyone, and to convict all of them of all the ungodly acts they have committed in their ungodliness, and of all the defiant words ungodly sinners have spoken against him.”

Jud 1:18  They said to you, “In the last times there will be scoffers who will follow their own ungodly desires.”

Jud 1:19  These are the people who divide you, who follow mere natural instincts and do not have the Spirit.

2Co_4:4  The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.

2Co_6:14  Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?

2Co_6:15  What harmony is there between Christ and Belial? Or what does a believer have in common with an unbeliever?

Rev_19:20  But the beast was captured, and with it the false prophet who had performed the signs on its behalf. With these signs he had deluded those who had received the mark of the beast and worshiped its image. The two of them were thrown alive into the fiery lake of burning sulfur.

Rev_20:10  And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. They will be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

Rev_21:8  But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars–they will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death.”

YOU MUST BE VICTORIOUS TO ENTER THE KINGDOM OF GOD

Rev_2:7  Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who is victorious, I will give the right to eat from the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God.

Rev_2:11  Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches. The one who is victorious will not be hurt at all by the second death.

Rev_2:17  Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who is victorious, I will give some of the hidden manna. I will also give that person a white stone with a new name written on it, known only to the one who receives it.

Rev_2:26  To the one who is victorious and does my will to the end, I will give authority over the nations–

Rev_3:5  The one who is victorious will, like them, be dressed in white. I will never blot out the name of that person from the book of life, but will acknowledge that name before my Father and his angels.

Rev_3:12  The one who is victorious I will make a pillar in the temple of my God. Never again will they leave it. I will write on them the name of my God and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which is coming down out of heaven from my God; and I will also write on them my new name.

Rev_3:21  To the one who is victorious, I will give the right to sit with me on my throne, just as I was victorious and sat down with my Father on his throne.

Rev_21:7  Those who are victorious will inherit all this, and I will be their God and they will be my children.

FAITH WITHOUT LOVE MEANS NOTHING

Eph_3:17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love,
Eph_6:23 Peace to the brothers and sisters, and love with faith from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Col_1:4 because we have heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and of the love you have for all God’s people–
