It is so difficult to believe in what you do not see and it is also so easy to lose your fait.

THE MOST DIFFICULT DECISION

What is the most difficult decision to make in this life?

The simple fact is that more than 6 billion people have failed to make this decision !

THE DECISION TO BELIEVE IN THE GOD OF THE BIBLE IS THE MOST DIFFICULT DECISION TO MAKE !!

More than 6  billion people do not believe in God of the Bible and have not obeyed Him to believe and receive Jesus His Son as their Savior !!!

FAITH

Heb_11:6 And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.

Heb 11:1 Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.
Heb 11:2 This is what the ancients were commended for.
Heb 11:3 By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible.

Rom_10:17 Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ.

Rom 10:8 But what does it say? “The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart,” that is, the message concerning faith that we proclaim:
Rom 10:9 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
Rom 10:10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.
Rom 10:11 As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame.”

Mar_1:1 The beginning of the good news about Jesus the Messiah, the Son of God,

Joh 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Act_2:38 Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
Act_3:19 Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord,

Joh_3:3 Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.”

The Devil is the reason why the people do not believe in God and Jesus !!

Because the Devil has deceived them all !! The Devil is the god of the people of this world, he is the god of this age  . The Devil is the ruler of this world. 2Co 4:4  The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. Eph_2:2  in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient. 1Jn_5:19  We know that we are children of God, and that the whole world is under the control of the evil one.

You need to understand that God sent Jesus into this world to do His will, to rescue the human race from God’s wrath because of the disobedience and sin of the human race who  listened to the Devil during the time of Adam and Eve and  are still obeying the Devil instead of their only Creator , God almighty , the God as described in the Bible. .  Jesus is your only Savior from eternal death , it is eternal life in hell – also called the second death

Joh_3:18  Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.

2Th_2:12  and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness.

Rom_14:11  It is written: “‘As surely as I live,’ says the Lord, ‘every knee will bow before me; every tongue will acknowledge God.'”

Php_2:10  that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth,

FORGIVENESS OF YOUR PAST SINS

Act_10:43  All the prophets testify about him that everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins through his name.”

Act_13:38  “Therefore, my friends, I want you to know that through Jesus the forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you.

Act_26:18  to open their eyes and turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, so that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in me.’

Eph_1:7  In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace

2Pe_1:9  But whoever does not have them is near-sighted and blind, forgetting that they have been cleansed from their past sins.

Mat_26:28  This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.

Heb_9:15  For this reason Christ is the mediator of a new covenant, that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance–now that he has died as a ransom to set them free from the sins committed under the first covenant.

You need to understand that there is only ONE ALMIGHTY GOD WHO IS above all , everyone and everything exists because of Him . Even Jesus , His Son lives because of GOD the Father .Joh_6:57 Just as the living Father sent me and I live because of the Father, so the one who feeds on me will live because of me. Col_1:15 The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.
Heb_1:6 And again, when God brings his firstborn into the world, he says, “Let all God’s angels worship him.”

THERE IS ONLY ONE TRUE GOD AND HE IS AS DESCRIBED IN ONLY ONE BOOK , THE BIBLE -THE WORD OF GOD

There is only One God and He is the God as described in the Bible and in no other book. If you are worshiping any other god , you are worshiping the Devil .

Exo_3:14  God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: ‘I AM has sent me to you.'”

Exo 3:12  And God said, “I will be with you. And this will be the sign to you that it is I who have sent you: When you have brought the people out of Egypt, you will worship God on this mountain.”

Exo 3:13  Moses said to God, “Suppose I go to the Israelites and say to them, ‘The God of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they ask me, ‘What is his name?’ Then what shall I tell them?”

Exo 3:14  God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: ‘I AM has sent me to you.'”

Exo 3:15  God also said to Moses, “Say to the Israelites, ‘The LORD, the God of your fathers–the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob–has sent me to you.’ “This is my name forever, the name you shall call me from generation to generation.

Exo 20:1  And God spoke all these words:

Exo 20:2  “I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery.

Exo 20:3  “You shall have no other gods before me.

Exo 20:4  “You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below.

Exo 20:5  You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me,

Exo 20:6  but showing love to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my commandments.

Exo 20:7  “You shall not misuse the name of the LORD your God, for the LORD will not hold anyone guiltless who misuses his name.

Gen_14:19  and he blessed Abram, saying, “Blessed be Abram by God Most High, Creator of heaven and earth.

Deu_32:6  Is this the way you repay the LORD, you foolish and unwise people? Is he not your Father, your Creator, who made you and formed you?

Deu_5:9  You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me,

Jer 10:10  But the LORD is the true God; he is the living God, the eternal King. When he is angry, the earth trembles; the nations cannot endure his wrath.

Jer 10:12  But God made the earth by his power; he founded the world by his wisdom and stretched out the heavens by his understanding.

Jer 10:13  When he thunders, the waters in the heavens roar; he makes clouds rise from the ends of the earth. He sends lightning with the rain and brings out the wind from his storehouses.

Jer 23:23  “Am I only a God nearby,” declares the LORD, “and not a God far away?

Jer 23:24  Who can hide in secret places so that I cannot see them?” declares the LORD. “Do not I fill heaven and earth?” declares the LORD.

Eze 1:26  Above the vault over their heads was what looked like a throne of lapis lazuli, and high above on the throne was a figure like that of a man.

Eze 1:27  I saw that from what appeared to be his waist up he looked like glowing metal, as if full of fire, and that from there down he looked like fire; and brilliant light surrounded him.

Eze 1:28  Like the appearance of a rainbow in the clouds on a rainy day, so was the radiance around him. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the LORD. When I saw it, I fell facedown, and I heard the voice of one speaking.

MAGOG THE DEVIL

Isa 14:12  How you have fallen from heaven, morning star, son of the dawn! You have been cast down to the earth, you who once laid low the nations!

Isa 14:13  You said in your heart, “I will ascend to the heavens; I will raise my throne above the stars of God; I will sit enthroned on the mount of assembly, on the utmost heights of Mount Zaphon.

Isa_14:14  I will ascend above the tops of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High.”

Isa 14:15  But you are brought down to the realm of the dead, to the depths of the pit.

Isa 14:16  Those who see you stare at you, they ponder your fate: “Is this the man who shook the earth and made kingdoms tremble,

Isa 14:17  the man who made the world a wilderness, who overthrew its cities and would not let his captives go home?”

The fallen angelic being , Magog, the Devil . He was a beautiful angel in heaven but by the time God created Adam he became jealous of God and wanted to be god himself and wanted to rule over God’s creation. God threw him out of heaven and he became known as Satan the Devil. By the time Jesus was in this world , Satan tried to kill Jesus as a baby but God did not allow it . After Jesus had done God’s will in this world , God allowed Satan to kill Jesus . But God showed Satan and the people of that time that God is God and there is no one like Him and He raised Jesus from the dead  and God let angel Michael bound the Devil and put him in captivity .The other name of Satan is Magog . Rev 12:7  Then war broke out in heaven. Michael and his angels fought against the dragon, and the dragon and his angels fought back.

Rev 12:8  But he was not strong enough, and they lost their place in heaven.

Rev 12:9  The great dragon was hurled down–that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him.

Magog is still doing his destructive and deceiving work from captivity and he is doing it through Gog his chief angel and his fallen angels/ demons .

So you have to escape the claws/lies of the Devil . While you are ignoring God of the Bible and Jesus of the Bible , your god and father is the Devil .

The reason why it is so difficult to believe in God and Jesus of the Bible, is because you are under the power of the Devil . Only by believing the Good news about Jesus as Son of God and Savior of your spirit and personally receive Him in your life , that you can get free from the power of the Devil .

NOTE : Soon Satan/ Magog will be released from captivity and it will be the beginning of the tribulation period as described in the books Daniel and Revelation in the Bible. ( Follow the teaching in another post ) Rev 20:7  When the thousand years are over, Satan will be released from his prison

Rev 20:8  and will go out to deceive the nations in the four corners of the earth–Gog and Magog–and to gather them for battle. In number they are like the sand on the seashore.

Satan rules the world and it is the reason why the world is in such a mess:

2Co 4:4  The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.

Eph_2:2  in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient.

Joh_14:30  I will not say much more to you, for the prince of this world is coming. He has no hold over me,

Joh_16:11  and about judgment, because the prince of this world now stands condemned.

Since God created Adam , the Devil wanted and still wants to rule over God’s creation .

THERE IS ONLY ONE SAVIOR- JESUS CHRIST THE SON OF GOD

2) There is only One Savior and He is the Son of God, Jesus, and you will find information about him only in the Bible – The Word of God . Jesus was with God from ancient times . Jesus is God’s firstborn in heaven . Col 1:15  The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. Heb 1:6  And again, when God brings his firstborn into the world, he says, “Let all God’s angels worship him.”  Joh 1:18  No one has ever seen God, but the one and only Son, who is himself God and is in closest relationship with the Father, has made him known.

Act_4:12  Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.”

1Jn_4:9  This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him.

1Jn_4:10  This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.

1Jn_4:14  And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent his Son to be the Savior of the world.

Joh 3:16  For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Php_2:10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth,

3) God of the Bible created the world through Jesus who was with God from ancient times

Pro_30:4  Who has gone up to heaven and come down? Whose hands have gathered up the wind? Who has wrapped up the waters in a cloak? Who has established all the ends of the earth? What is his name, and what is the name of his son? Surely you know!

Mic_5:2  “But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are small among the clans of Judah, out of you will come for me one who will be ruler over Israel, whose origins are from of old, from ancient times.”

Joh 17:5  And now, Father, glorify me in your presence with the glory I had with you before the world began.

Gen_1:1  In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

Gen_1:2  Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.

Gen_1:3  And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light.

Gen_14:19  and he blessed Abram, saying, “Blessed be Abram by God Most High, Creator of heaven and earth.

Deu_32:6  Is this the way you repay the LORD, you foolish and unwise people? Is he not your Father, your Creator, who made you and formed you?

Joh 1:1  In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Joh 1:2  He was with God in the beginning.

Joh 1:3  Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.

Joh 1:4  In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind.

Joh_1:10  He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him.

Col_1:16  For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him.

Joh_1:18  No one has ever seen God, but the one and only Son, who is himself God and is in closest relationship with the Father, has made him known.

YOUR FAITH in GOD OF THE BIBLE , and  YOUR FAITH IN JESUS THE SON OF GOD: DON’T LOSE THIS PRECIOUS POSSESION!!!

YOU WILL INHERIT ETERNAL LIFE IF YOU DO NOT GIVE UP !!!!

TO BELIEVE IS A DECISION YOU MAKE.

If YOU REPENT – changing your old way of thinking and reasoning and unbelieve  – believing in the God of the Bible and the Good News about Jesus as Son of God and Savior of your spirit, you will be saved . By faith you receive Jesus as your Savior and are forgiven of your past sins and have been made righteous by His righteousness and have received the Holy Spirit.

By faith you obey God and Jesus , Listening to the Word of God and the Holy Spirit and obeying the commandments in the Bible and obeying the Holy Spirit . By faith you remain faithful . 1Jn_1:9  If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. Hab_2:4  “See, the enemy is puffed up; his desires are not upright– but the righteous person will live by his faithfulness– Rom_1:17  For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed–a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: “The righteous will live by faith.” Heb_10:38  And, “But my righteous one will live by faith. And I take no pleasure in the one who shrinks back.” Rom_1:5  Through him we received grace and apostleship to call all the Gentiles to the obedience that comes from faith for his name’s sake. Act_5:32  We are witnesses of these things, and so is the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey him.”

Heb 11:6  And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.

Heb 11:1  Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.

Heb 11:2  This is what the ancients were commended for.

Heb 11:3  By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible.

Rom_16:26  but now revealed and made known through the prophetic writings by the command of the eternal God, so that all the Gentiles might come to the obedience that comes from faith–

Isa_43:10  “You are my witnesses,” declares the LORD, “and my servant whom I have chosen, so that you may know and believe me and understand that I am he. Before me no god was formed, nor will there be one after me.

Isa_7:9  The head of Ephraim is Samaria, and the head of Samaria is only Remaliah’s son. If you do not stand firm in your faith, you will not stand at all.'”

Isa_26:2  Open the gates that the righteous nation may enter, the nation that keeps faith.

FAITH/TO BELIEVE

Joh 20:29  Then Jesus told him, “Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”

Joh 20:31  But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.

Heb_11:1  Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.

1Pe_1:8  Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy,

Heb 11:3  By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible.

Joh_20:29  Then Jesus told him, “Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”

Joh 6:35  Then Jesus declared, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.

Joh 6:38  For I have come down from heaven not to do my will but to do the will of him who sent me.

Joh 6:39  And this is the will of him who sent me, that I shall lose none of all those he has given me, but raise them up at the last day.

Joh 6:40  For my Father’s will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day.”

Joh 6:47  Very truly I tell you, the one who believes has eternal life.

Joh 6:48  I am the bread of life.

1Pe_1:8  Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy,

1Jn_4:20  Whoever claims to love God yet hates a brother or sister is a liar. For whoever does not love their brother and sister, whom they have seen, cannot love God, whom they have not seen.

Joh 6:29  Jesus answered, “The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent.”

Joh_3:18  Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.

Joh_20:31  But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.

Rom_10:9  If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

1Th_2:13  And we also thank God continually because, when you received the word of God, which you heard from us, you accepted it not as a human word, but as it actually is, the word of God, which is indeed at work in you who believe.

1Th_4:14  For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him.

1Ti_4:10  That is why we labor and strive, because we have put our hope in the living God, who is the Savior of all people, and especially of those who believe.

1Pe_1:21  Through him you believe in God, who raised him from the dead and glorified him, and so your faith and hope are in God.

Joh_12:44  Then Jesus cried out, “Whoever believes in me does not believe in me only, but in the one who sent me.

2Co_4:18  So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

The most difficult thing in this world is to believe in the Creator of existence ,the Creator of Life- the creator of everything and HE is the God of the Bible  !!

Why am I saying that it is so difficult ? The evidence is that more than 6 billion people do not believe in the God of the Bible and they will all go to hell where they will be with the one who have deceived them and he is Magog the Devil .

It is so so simple .. if God of the Bible is not your God then your god is the Devil . If you don’t worship the God of the Bible then you are worshiping the Devil . JESUS SAID ,when He was in this world, to those who did not believe Him : Joh 8:43  Why is my language not clear to you? Because you are unable to hear what I say. Joh 8:44  You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies. Joh 8:45  Yet because I tell the truth, you do not believe me!

THE MOST IMPORTANT AND MOST INTERESTING LIFE IN THIS WORLD IS TO LIVE  BY FAITH. It is also  THE COMMANMENT OF GOD AND OF JESUS. To be a RIGHTEOUS CHRISTIAN is to live a faithful life in faith in the God of the Bible and in Jesus of the Bible. Hab 2:4  “See, the enemy is puffed up; his desires are not upright– but the righteous person will live by his faithfulness–

REMEMBER YOU COULD LOSE YOUR FAITH -DEPART FROM/TURN/FALL  AWAY FROM/ renounce your faith and you will be just like the unbeliever/ sinner again and go to hell on judgment day:

1Ti_6:21  which some have professed and in so doing have departed from the faith. Grace be with you all.

2Ti_2:18  who have departed from the truth. They say that the resurrection has already taken place, and they destroy the faith of some.

Mat_24:10  At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other,

2Ti_4:4  They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths.

Heb_12:25  See to it that you do not refuse him who speaks. If they did not escape when they refused him who warned them on earth, how much less will we, if we turn away from him who warns us from heaven?

Mat_13:21  But since they have no root, they last only a short time. When trouble or persecution comes because of the word, they quickly fall away.

Mat_26:31  Then Jesus told them, “This very night you will all fall away on account of me, for it is written: “‘I will strike the shepherd, and the sheep of the flock will be scattered.’

Mat_26:33  Peter replied, “Even if all fall away on account of you, I never will.”

Joh_16:1  “All this I have told you so that you will not fall away.

2Ti_2:12  if we endure, we will also reign with him. If we disown him, he will also disown us;

2Pe_3:17  Therefore, dear friends, since you have been forewarned, be on your guard so that you may not be carried away by the error of the lawless and fall from your secure position.

Rev_2:13  I know where you live–where Satan has his throne. Yet you remain true to my name. You did not renounce your faith in me, not even in the days of Antipas, my faithful witness, who was put to death in your city–where Satan lives.

2Pe_2:21  It would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than to have known it and then to turn their backs on the sacred command that was passed on to them.

Heb 6:4  It is impossible for those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, who have shared in the Holy Spirit,

Heb 6:5  who have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the coming age

Heb 6:6  and who have fallen away, to be brought back to repentance. To their loss they are crucifying the Son of God all over again and subjecting him to public disgrace.

Heb 10:38  And, “But my righteous one will live by faith. And I take no pleasure in the one who shrinks back.”

Heb 10:39  But we do not belong to those who shrink back and are destroyed, but to those who have faith and are saved.

2Ti_4:7  I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.

Rev_20:4  I saw thrones on which were seated those who had been given authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony about Jesus and because of the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

Eze 3:20 “Again, when a righteous person turns from their righteousness and does evil, and I put a stumbling block before them, they will die. Since you did not warn them, they will die for their sin. The righteous things that person did will not be remembered, and I will hold you accountable for their blood.
Eze 3:21 But if you do warn the righteous person not to sin and they do not sin, they will surely live because they took warning, and you will have saved yourself.”

Eze 18:20 The one who sins is the one who will die. The child will not share the guilt of the parent, nor will the parent share the guilt of the child. The righteousness of the righteous will be credited to them, and the wickedness of the wicked will be charged against them.

Eze 33:18 If a righteous person turns from their righteousness and does evil, they will die for it.

Mat 13:18 “Listen then to what the parable of the sower means:
Mat 13:19 When anyone hears the message about the kingdom and does not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what was sown in their heart. This is the seed sown along the path.
Mat 13:20 The seed falling on rocky ground refers to someone who hears the word and at once receives it with joy.
Mat 13:21 But since they have no root, they last only a short time. When trouble or persecution comes because of the word, they quickly fall away.
Mat 13:22 The seed falling among the thorns refers to someone who hears the word, but the worries of this life and the deceitfulness of wealth choke the word, making it unfruitful.
Mat 13:23 But the seed falling on good soil refers to someone who hears the word and understands it. This is the one who produces a crop, yielding a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown.”
Mat 13:24 Jesus told them another parable: “The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field.
Mat 13:25 But while everyone was sleeping, his enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat, and went away.
Mat 13:26 When the wheat sprouted and formed heads, then the weeds also appeared.
Mat 13:27 “The owner’s servants came to him and said, ‘Sir, didn’t you sow good seed in your field? Where then did the weeds come from?’
Mat 13:28 “‘An enemy did this,’ he replied. “The servants asked him, ‘Do you want us to go and pull them up?’
Mat 13:29 “‘No,’ he answered, ‘because while you are pulling the weeds, you may uproot the wheat with them.
Mat 13:30 Let both grow together until the harvest. At that time I will tell the harvesters: First collect the weeds and tie them in bundles to be burned; then gather the wheat and bring it into my barn.'”

WEAK IN FAITH OR LITTLE FAITH

Rom_14:1  Accept the one whose faith is weak, without quarreling over disputable matters.

Rom_14:2  One person’s faith allows them to eat anything, but another, whose faith is weak, eats only vegetables.

Mat_6:30  If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you–you of little faith?

Mat_8:26  He replied, “You of little faith, why are you so afraid?” Then he got up and rebuked the winds and the waves, and it was completely calm.

Mat_14:31  Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. “You of little faith,” he said, “why did you doubt?”

Mat_16:8  Aware of their discussion, Jesus asked, “You of little faith, why are you talking among yourselves about having no bread?

Mat_17:20  He replied, “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”

GROW IN FAITH:

2Co_10:15  Neither do we go beyond our limits by boasting of work done by others. Our hope is that, as your faith continues to grow, our sphere of activity among you will greatly expand,

2Pe 1:5  For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge;

2Pe 1:6  and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness;

2Pe 1:7  and to godliness, mutual affection; and to mutual affection, love.

2Pe 1:8  For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Jas_2:5  Listen, my dear brothers and sisters: Has not God chosen those who are poor in the eyes of the world to be rich in faith and to inherit the kingdom he promised those who love him?

2Ti_2:22  Flee the evil desires of youth and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart

DEEDS/ACTIONS IN FAITH :

Tit_3:15  Everyone with me sends you greetings. Greet those who love us in the faith. Grace be with you all.

Eph_5:2  and walk in the way of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God. 1Pe_2:17  Show proper respect to everyone, love the family of believers, fear God, honor the emperor.

Mat_25:37  “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink?

Mat 25:24  “Then the man who had received one bag of gold came. ‘Master,’ he said, ‘I knew that you are a hard man, harvesting where you have not sown and gathering where you have not scattered seed.

Mat 25:25  So I was afraid and went out and hid your gold in the ground. See, here is what belongs to you.’

Mat 25:26  “His master replied, ‘You wicked, lazy servant! So you knew that I harvest where I have not sown and gather where I have not scattered seed?

Mat 25:27  Well then, you should have put my money on deposit with the bankers, so that when I returned I would have received it back with interest.

Mat 25:28  “‘So take the bag of gold from him and give it to the one who has ten bags.

Mat 25:29  For whoever has will be given more, and they will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what they have will be taken from them.

Mat 25:30  And throw that worthless servant outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’

Mat 25:31  “When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his glorious throne.

Mat 25:32  All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats.

Mat 25:33  He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left.

Mat 25:34  “Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world.

Mat 25:35  For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in,

Mat 25:36  I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’

Mat 25:37  “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink?

Mat 25:38  When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you?

Mat 25:39  When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’

Mat 25:40  “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’

Mat 25:41  “Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels.

Mat 25:42  For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink,

Mat 25:43  I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.’

Mat 25:44  “They also will answer, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?’

Mat 25:45  “He will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.’

Mat 25:46  “Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life.”

Jas_2:14  What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save them?

Jas_2:18  But someone will say, “You have faith; I have deeds.” Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by my deeds.

Jas_2:20  You foolish person, do you want evidence that faith without deeds is useless?

Jas_2:26  As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without deeds is dead.

Rev_2:19  I know your deeds, your love and faith, your service and perseverance, and that you are now doing more than you did at first.

Heb 11:1  Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.

Heb 11:2  This is what the ancients were commended for.

Heb 11:3  By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God’s command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible.

Heb 11:4  By faith Abel brought God a better offering than Cain did. By faith he was commended as righteous, when God spoke well of his offerings. And by faith Abel still speaks, even though he is dead.

Heb 11:5  By faith Enoch was taken from this life, so that he did not experience death: “He could not be found, because God had taken him away.” For before he was taken, he was commended as one who pleased God.

Heb 11:6  And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.

Heb 11:7  By faith Noah, when warned about things not yet seen, in holy fear built an ark to save his family. By his faith he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness that is in keeping with faith.

Heb 11:8  By faith Abraham, when called to go to a place he would later receive as his inheritance, obeyed and went, even though he did not know where he was going.

Heb 11:9  By faith he made his home in the promised land like a stranger in a foreign country; he lived in tents, as did Isaac and Jacob, who were heirs with him of the same promise.

Heb 11:17  By faith Abraham, when God tested him, offered Isaac as a sacrifice. He who had embraced the promises was about to sacrifice his one and only son,

DEEDS /ACTIONS IN FAITH ALSO MEANS THAT YOU NEED TO BEAR GOOD FRUIT

Joh 15:1 “I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener.
Joh 15:2 He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful.
Joh 15:3 You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you.
Joh 15:4 Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me.
Joh 15:5 “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.
Joh 15:6 If you do not remain in me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned.
Joh 15:7 If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.
Joh 15:8 This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.
Joh 15:9 “As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love.
Joh 15:10 If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands and remain in his love.

Rom_7:4 So, my brothers and sisters, you also died to the law through the body of Christ, that you might belong to another, to him who was raised from the dead, in order that we might bear fruit for God.

Gal_5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,

Eph_5:9 (for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth)

Php_1:11 filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ–to the glory and praise of God.

Col_1:10 so that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God,

Jas_3:17 But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere.

LIVE BY FAITH

Joh 6:57  Just as the living Father sent me and I live because of the Father, so the one who feeds on me will live because of me.

Joh 6:58  This is the bread that came down from heaven. Your ancestors ate manna and died, but whoever feeds on this bread will live forever.”

Joh 6:53  Jesus said to them, “Very truly I tell you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you.

Joh 6:54  Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day.

Joh 6:55  For my flesh is real food and my blood is real drink.

Joh 6:56  Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and I in them.

Joh 6:57  Just as the living Father sent me and I live because of the Father, so the one who feeds on me will live because of me.

Joh 6:58  This is the bread that came down from heaven. Your ancestors ate manna and died, but whoever feeds on this bread will live forever.”

Joh_8:51  Very truly I tell you, whoever obeys my word will never see death.”

Joh_11:26  and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?”

Joh_12:26  Whoever serves me must follow me; and where I am, my servant also will be. My Father will honor the one who serves me.

Rom_3:26  he did it to demonstrate his righteousness at the present time, so as to be just and the one who justifies those who have faith in Jesus.

Rom_1:17  For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed–a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: “The righteous will live by faith.”

2Co_5:7  For we live by faith, not by sight.

Gal_2:20  I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

Heb_11:7  By faith Noah, when warned about things not yet seen, in holy fear built an ark to save his family. By his faith he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness that is in keeping with faith.

Heb_12:11  No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it.

Jas_1:20  because human anger does not produce the righteousness that God desires.

Jas_2:23  And the scripture was fulfilled that says, “Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness,” and he was called God’s friend.

Jas_3:18  Peacemakers who sow in peace reap a harvest of righteousness.

1Pe_2:24  “He himself bore our sins” in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; “by his wounds you have been healed.”

Gal_3:11  Clearly no one who relies on the law is justified before God, because “the righteous will live by faith.”

Gal_3:12  The law is not based on faith; on the contrary, it says, “The person who does these things will live by them.”

Heb_10:38  And, “But my righteous one will live by faith. And I take no pleasure in the one who shrinks back.”

2Co_5:7  For we live by faith, not by sight. Heb_10:38  And, “But my righteous one will live by faith. And I take no pleasure in the one who shrinks back.”

1Pe_3:6  like Sarah, who obeyed Abraham and called him her lord. You are her daughters if you do what is right and do not give way to fear.

Heb 11:10  For he was looking forward to the city with foundations, whose architect and builder is God.

Heb 11:11  And by faith even Sarah, who was past childbearing age, was enabled to bear children because she considered him faithful who had made the promise.

Heb 11:12  And so from this one man, and he as good as dead, came descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky and as countless as the sand on the seashore.

Heb 11:13  All these people were still living by faith when they died. They did not receive the things promised; they only saw them and welcomed them from a distance, admitting that they were foreigners and strangers on earth.

Heb 11:14  People who say such things show that they are looking for a country of their own.

Heb 11:15  If they had been thinking of the country they had left, they would have had opportunity to return.

Heb 11:16  Instead, they were longing for a better country–a heavenly one. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for he has prepared a city for them.

Heb 11:17  By faith Abraham, when God tested him, offered Isaac as a sacrifice. He who had embraced the promises was about to sacrifice his one and only son,

Heb 11:18  even though God had said to him, “It is through Isaac that your offspring will be reckoned.”

Heb 11:19  Abraham reasoned that God could even raise the dead, and so in a manner of speaking he did receive Isaac back from death.

Heb 11:20  By faith Isaac blessed Jacob and Esau in regard to their future.

Heb 11:21  By faith Jacob, when he was dying, blessed each of Joseph’s sons, and worshiped as he leaned on the top of his staff.

Heb 11:22  By faith Joseph, when his end was near, spoke about the exodus of the Israelites from Egypt and gave instructions concerning the burial of his bones.

Heb 11:23  By faith Moses’ parents hid him for three months after he was born, because they saw he was no ordinary child, and they were not afraid of the king’s edict.

Heb 11:24  By faith Moses, when he had grown up, refused to be known as the son of Pharaoh’s daughter.

Heb 11:25  He chose to be mistreated along with the people of God rather than to enjoy the fleeting pleasures of sin.

Heb 11:26  He regarded disgrace for the sake of Christ as of greater value than the treasures of Egypt, because he was looking ahead to his reward.

Heb 11:27  By faith he left Egypt, not fearing the king’s anger; he persevered because he saw him who is invisible.

Heb 11:28  By faith he kept the Passover and the application of blood, so that the destroyer of the firstborn would not touch the firstborn of Israel.

Heb 11:29  By faith the people passed through the Red Sea as on dry land; but when the Egyptians tried to do so, they were drowned.

Heb 11:30  By faith the walls of Jericho fell, after the army had marched around them for seven days.

Heb 11:31  By faith the prostitute Rahab, because she welcomed the spies, was not killed with those who were disobedient.

Heb 11:32  And what more shall I say? I do not have time to tell about Gideon, Barak, Samson and Jephthah, about David and Samuel and the prophets,

Heb 11:33  who through faith conquered kingdoms, administered justice, and gained what was promised; who shut the mouths of lions,

Heb 11:34  quenched the fury of the flames, and escaped the edge of the sword; whose weakness was turned to strength; and who became powerful in battle and routed foreign armies.

Heb 11:35  Women received back their dead, raised to life again. There were others who were tortured, refusing to be released so that they might gain an even better resurrection.

Heb 11:36  Some faced jeers and flogging, and even chains and imprisonment.

Heb 11:37  They were put to death by stoning; they were sawed in two; they were killed by the sword. They went about in sheepskins and goatskins, destitute, persecuted and mistreated–

Heb 11:38  the world was not worthy of them. They wandered in deserts and mountains, living in caves and in holes in the ground.

Heb 11:39  These were all commended for their faith, yet none of them received what had been promised,

Heb 11:40  since God had planned something better for us so that only together with us would they be made perfect.

Act 3:16  By faith in the name of Jesus, this man whom you see and know was made strong. It is Jesus’ name and the faith that comes through him that has completely healed him, as you can all see.

BECAUSE OF YOUR FAITH IN JESUS YOU WILL GO THROUGH MANY HARDSHIPS EVEN TO THE POINT OF DEATH:

1Pe_3:6  like Sarah, who obeyed Abraham and called him her lord. You are her daughters if you do what is right and do not give way to fear.

1Pe_3:14  But even if you should suffer for what is right, you are blessed. “Do not fear their threats; do not be frightened.”

1Pe_4:14  If you are insulted because of the name of Christ, you are blessed, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you.

1Pe_4:15  If you suffer, it should not be as a murderer or thief or any other kind of criminal, or even as a meddler.

1Pe_4:16  However, if you suffer as a Christian, do not be ashamed, but praise God that you bear that name.

Rom_12:12  Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.

Mat_5:10  Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Heb_10:32  Remember those earlier days after you had received the light, when you endured in a great conflict full of suffering.

Jas_1:12  Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.

Joh_15:18  “If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first.

Joh_15:19  If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you.

1Jn_3:13  Do not be surprised, my brothers and sisters, if the world hates you.

Luk_22:28 You are those who have stood by me in my trials.
1Th_3:3 so that no one would be unsettled by these trials. For you know quite well that we are destined for them.
2Th_1:4 Therefore, among God’s churches we boast about your perseverance and faith in all the persecutions and trials you are enduring.
Jas_1:2 Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds,
1Pe_1:6 In all this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials.
2Pe_2:9 if this is so, then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trials and to hold the unrighteous for punishment on the day of judgment.

Mat_5:12 Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.
Mat_10:23 When you are persecuted in one place, flee to another. Truly I tell you, you will not finish going through the towns of Israel before the Son of Man comes.
Mat_24:9 “Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me.
Joh_15:20 Remember what I told you: ‘A servant is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also. If they obeyed my teaching, they will obey yours also.

1Co_4:12 We work hard with our own hands. When we are cursed, we bless; when we are persecuted, we endure it;
1Co_15:9 For I am the least of the apostles and do not even deserve to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.
2Co_4:9 persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed.
Gal_1:13 For you have heard of my previous way of life in Judaism, how intensely I persecuted the church of God and tried to destroy it.
Gal_1:23 They only heard the report: “The man who formerly persecuted us is now preaching the faith he once tried to destroy.”

Gal_6:12 Those who want to impress people by means of the flesh are trying to compel you to be circumcised. The only reason they do this is to avoid being persecuted for the cross of Christ.
1Th_3:4 In fact, when we were with you, we kept telling you that we would be persecuted. And it turned out that way, as you well know.
2Ti_3:12 In fact, everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted,
Heb_11:37 They were put to death by stoning; they were sawed in two; they were killed by the sword. They went about in sheepskins and goatskins, destitute, persecuted and mistreated–

1Ti_4:16 Watch your life and doctrine closely. Persevere in them, because if you do, you will save both yourself and your hearers.
Heb_10:36 You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised.

Heb_11:37 They were put to death by stoning; they were sawed in two; they were killed by the sword. They went about in sheepskins and goatskins, destitute, persecuted and mistreated–
Rev_6:11 Then each of them was given a white robe, and they were told to wait a little longer, until the full number of their fellow servants, their brothers and sisters, were killed just as they had been.
Rev_9:18 A third of mankind was killed by the three plagues of fire, smoke and sulfur that came out of their mouths.
Rev_9:20 The rest of mankind who were not killed by these plagues still did not repent of the work of their hands; they did not stop worshiping demons, and idols of gold, silver, bronze, stone and wood–idols that cannot see or hear or walk.
Rev_11:13 At that very hour there was a severe earthquake and a tenth of the city collapsed. Seven thousand people were killed in the earthquake, and the survivors were terrified and gave glory to the God of heaven.
Rev_13:10 “If anyone is to go into captivity, into captivity they will go. If anyone is to be killed with the sword, with the sword they will be killed.” This calls for patient endurance and faithfulness on the part of God’s people.
Rev_13:15 The second beast was given power to give breath to the image of the first beast, so that the image could speak and cause all who refused to worship the image to be killed.
Rev_19:21 The rest were killed with the sword coming out of the mouth of the rider on the horse, and all the birds gorged themselves on their flesh.

Mat 10:17 Be on your guard; you will be handed over to the local councils and be flogged in the synagogues.
Mat 10:18 On my account you will be brought before governors and kings as witnesses to them and to the Gentiles.
Mat 10:19 But when they arrest you, do not worry about what to say or how to say it. At that time you will be given what to say,
Mat 10:20 for it will not be you speaking, but the Spirit of your Father speaking through you.
Mat 10:21 “Brother will betray brother to death, and a father his child; children will rebel against their parents and have them put to death.
Mat 10:22 You will be hated by everyone because of me, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved.
Mat 10:23 When you are persecuted in one place, flee to another. Truly I tell you, you will not finish going through the towns of Israel before the Son of Man comes.
Mat 10:24 “The student is not above the teacher, nor a servant above his master.
Mat 10:25 It is enough for students to be like their teachers, and servants like their masters. If the head of the house has been called Beelzebul, how much more the members of his household!
Mat 10:26 “So do not be afraid of them, for there is nothing concealed that will not be disclosed, or hidden that will not be made known.
Mat 10:27 What I tell you in the dark, speak in the daylight; what is whispered in your ear, proclaim from the roofs.
Mat 10:28 Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell.
Mat 10:29 Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground outside your Father’s care.
Mat 10:30 And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered.
Mat 10:31 So don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.
Mat 10:32 “Whoever acknowledges me before others, I will also acknowledge before my Father in heaven.

OBEDIENCE THAT COMES FROM YOUR FAITH

Rom_1:17  For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed–a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: “The righteous will live by faith.”

2Co_5:7  For we live by faith, not by sight.

Gal_2:20  I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

From faith comes obedience and from this obedience comes righteousness

Rom_1:5  Through him we received grace and apostleship to call all the Gentiles to the obedience that comes from faith for his name’s sake. Rom_6:16  Don’t you know that when you offer yourselves to someone as obedient slaves, you are slaves of the one you obey–whether you are slaves to sin, which leads to death, or to obedience, which leads to righteousness?

Rom_16:26  but now revealed and made known through the prophetic writings by the command of the eternal God, so that all the Gentiles might come to the obedience that comes from faith—

Heb 11:7  By faith Noah, when warned about things not yet seen, in holy fear built an ark to save his family. By his faith he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness that is in keeping with faith.

Joh_8:51  Very truly I tell you, whoever obeys my word will never see death.”

Joh_6:57  Just as the living Father sent me and I live because of the Father, so the one who feeds on me will live because of me.

Joh 7:38  Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them.”

Joh 8:12  When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”

Joh 8:51  Very truly I tell you, whoever obeys my word will never see death.”

Joh 8:55  Though you do not know him, I know him. If I said I did not, I would be a liar like you, but I do know him and obey his word.

1Pe_3:6  like Sarah, who obeyed Abraham and called him her lord. You are her daughters if you do what is right and do not give way to fear.

CONTINUE IN YOUR FAITH:

Col_1:23  if you continue in your faith, established and firm, and do not move from the hope held out in the gospel. This is the gospel that you heard and that has been proclaimed to every creature under heaven, and of which I, Paul, have become a servant.

1Pe_3:6  like Sarah, who obeyed Abraham and called him her lord. You are her daughters if you do what is right and do not give way to fear.

Joh 8:12  When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”

Luk_18:1 Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up.

Act_20:32 “Now I commit you to God and to the word of his grace, which can build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified.

Luk_21:19 Stand firm, and you will win life.

1Co_15:58 Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.
1Co_16:13 Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong.
2Co_1:21 Now it is God who makes both us and you stand firm in Christ. He anointed us,
2Co_1:24 Not that we lord it over your faith, but we work with you for your joy, because it is by faith you stand firm.
Gal_5:1 It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.
Eph_6:14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place,
Php_1:27 Whatever happens, conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ. Then, whether I come and see you or only hear about you in my absence, I will know that you stand firm in the one Spirit, striving together as one for the faith of the gospel
Php_4:1 Therefore, my brothers and sisters, you whom I love and long for, my joy and crown, stand firm in the Lord in this way, dear friends!
Col_4:12 Epaphras, who is one of you and a servant of Christ Jesus, sends greetings. He is always wrestling in prayer for you, that you may stand firm in all the will of God, mature and fully assured.
2Th_2:15 So then, brothers and sisters, stand firm and hold fast to the teachings we passed on to you, whether by word of mouth or by letter.
Jas_5:8 You too, be patient and stand firm, because the Lord’s coming is near.

Rev_2:26 To the one who is victorious and does my will to the end, I will give authority over the nations–

YOU NEED TO BE VICTORIOUS TO INHERIT ETERNAL LIFE

Rev_2:7 Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who is victorious, I will give the right to eat from the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God.
Rev_2:11 Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches. The one who is victorious will not be hurt at all by the second death.
Rev_2:17 Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who is victorious, I will give some of the hidden manna. I will also give that person a white stone with a new name written on it, known only to the one who receives it.
Rev_2:26 To the one who is victorious and does my will to the end, I will give authority over the nations–
Rev_3:5 The one who is victorious will, like them, be dressed in white. I will never blot out the name of that person from the book of life, but will acknowledge that name before my Father and his angels.
Rev_3:12 The one who is victorious I will make a pillar in the temple of my God. Never again will they leave it. I will write on them the name of my God and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which is coming down out of heaven from my God; and I will also write on them my new name.
Rev_3:21 To the one who is victorious, I will give the right to sit with me on my throne, just as I was victorious and sat down with my Father on his throne.
Rev_15:2 And I saw what looked like a sea of glass glowing with fire and, standing beside the sea, those who had been victorious over the beast and its image and over the number of its name. They held harps given them by God
Rev_21:7 Those who are victorious will inherit all this, and I will be their God and they will be my children.

GOD WILL TEST YOUR FAITH:

Rev_3:10  Since you have kept my command to endure patiently, I will also keep you from the hour of trial that is going to come on the whole world to test the inhabitants of the earth.

Jas_1:12  Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.

1Pe_4:12  Dear friends, do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal that has come on you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you.

MANY TIMES YOU WILL SUFFER AS A CHRISTIAN, LIVING A RIGHTEOUS LIFE EVERY DAY OF YOUR LIFE

Jas_1:12  Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.

Rev_2:10  Do not be afraid of what you are about to suffer. I tell you, the devil will put some of you in prison to test you, and you will suffer persecution for ten days. Be faithful, even to the point of death, and I will give you life as your victor’s crown.

Rev_2:13  I know where you live–where Satan has his throne. Yet you remain true to my name. You did not renounce your faith in me, not even in the days of Antipas, my faithful witness, who was put to death in your city–where Satan lives.

Rev_12:11  They triumphed over him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death.

Rev_21:4  ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”

YOU NEED TO ENDURE PATIENTLY

2Ti_4:5  But you, keep your head in all situations, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, discharge all the duties of your ministry.

Heb 6:12  We do not want you to become lazy, but to imitate those who through faith and patience inherit what has been promised.

Heb_12:7  Endure hardship as discipline; God is treating you as his children. For what children are not disciplined by their father?

1Pe_2:20  But how is it to your credit if you receive a beating for doing wrong and endure it? But if you suffer for doing good and you endure it, this is commendable before God.

Rev_3:10  Since you have kept my command to endure patiently, I will also keep you from the hour of trial that is going to come on the whole world to test the inhabitants of the earth.

Rev_14:12  This calls for patient endurance on the part of the people of God who keep his commands and remain faithful to Jesus.

Rom_12:12  Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.

YOU NEED TO OVERCOME THE DEVIL :

Jas_4:7  Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

1Co_6:18  Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a person commits are outside the body, but whoever sins sexually, sins against their own body.

1Co_10:14  Therefore, my dear friends, flee from idolatry.

1Ti 6:10  For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.

1Ti_6:11  But you, man of God, flee from all this, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance and gentleness.

1Pe 5:8  Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.

1Pe 5:9  Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of sufferings.

1Ti 6:12  Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses.

2Ti_4:7  I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.

Eph 2:1  As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins,

Eph 2:2  in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient.

Eph 2:3  All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our flesh and following its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature deserving of wrath.

Mat_13:38  The field is the world, and the good seed stands for the people of the kingdom. The weeds are the people of the evil one,

1Jn_4:4  You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.

1Jn_5:4  for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith.

Joh_5:14 Later Jesus found him at the temple and said to him, “See, you are well again. Stop sinning or something worse may happen to you.”
1Co_15:34 Come back to your senses as you ought, and stop sinning; for there are some who are ignorant of God–I say this to your shame.
2Pe_2:14 With eyes full of adultery, they never stop sinning; they seduce the unstable; they are experts in greed–an accursed brood!

1Jn 3:6 No one who lives in him keeps on sinning. No one who continues to sin has either seen him or known him.

1Jn 3:10 This is how we know who the children of God are and who the children of the devil are: Anyone who does not do what is right is not God’s child, nor is anyone who does not love their brother and sister.

IN THIS LIFE WE NEED TO LIVE AS JESUS DID WHEN HE WAS IN THIS WORLD

Heb 3:1  Therefore, holy brothers and sisters, who share in the heavenly calling, fix your thoughts on Jesus, whom we acknowledge as our apostle and high priest.

Heb 3:2  He was faithful to the one who appointed him, just as Moses was faithful in all God’s house.

Heb_12:2  fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Php_2:8  And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death– even death on a cross!

1Jn_2:6  Whoever claims to live in him must live as Jesus did.

1Jn_4:17  This is how love is made complete among us so that we will have confidence on the day of judgment: In this world we are like Jesus.

Remain true to the faith

Act_14:22  strengthening the disciples and encouraging them to remain true to the faith. “We must go through many hardships to enter the kingdom of God,” they said.

Mat_24:10  At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other,

Act_3:16  By faith in the name of Jesus, this man whom you see and know was made strong. It is Jesus’ name and the faith that comes through him that has completely healed him, as you can all see.

Act_6:7  So the word of God spread. The number of disciples in Jerusalem increased rapidly, and a large number of priests became obedient to the faith.

Act_13:8  But Elymas the sorcerer (for that is what his name means) opposed them and tried to turn the proconsul from the faith.

Act_14:22  strengthening the disciples and encouraging them to remain true to the faith. “We must go through many hardships to enter the kingdom of God,” they said.

Act_16:5  So the churches were strengthened in the faith and grew daily in numbers.

Rom_4:12  And he is then also the father of the circumcised who not only are circumcised but who also follow in the footsteps of the faith that our father Abraham had before he was circumcised.

Rom_4:16  Therefore, the promise comes by faith, so that it may be by grace and may be guaranteed to all Abraham’s offspring–not only to those who are of the law but also to those who have the faith of Abraham. He is the father of us all.

Rom_12:3  For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the faith God has distributed to each of you.

1Co_16:13  Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong.

2Co_13:5  Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves. Do you not realize that Christ Jesus is in you–unless, of course, you fail the test?

Gal_1:23  They only heard the report: “The man who formerly persecuted us is now preaching the faith he once tried to destroy.”

Gal_3:23  Before the coming of this faith, we were held in custody under the law, locked up until the faith that was to come would be revealed.

Eph_4:13  until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.

Php_1:25  Convinced of this, I know that I will remain, and I will continue with all of you for your progress and joy in the faith,

Php_1:27  Whatever happens, conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ. Then, whether I come and see you or only hear about you in my absence, I will know that you stand firm in the one Spirit, striving together as one for the faith of the gospel

Col_1:5  the faith and love that spring from the hope stored up for you in heaven and about which you have already heard in the true message of the gospel

Col_2:7  rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.

1Ti_1:2  To Timothy my true son in the faith: Grace, mercy and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord.

1Ti_1:14  The grace of our Lord was poured out on me abundantly, along with the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus.

1Ti_1:19  holding on to faith and a good conscience, which some have rejected and so have suffered shipwreck with regard to the faith.

1Ti_3:9  They must keep hold of the deep truths of the faith with a clear conscience.

1Ti_4:1  The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons.

1Ti_4:6  If you point these things out to the brothers and sisters, you will be a good minister of Christ Jesus, nourished on the truths of the faith and of the good teaching that you have followed.

1Ti_5:8  Anyone who does not provide for their relatives, and especially for their own household, has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.

1Ti_6:10  For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.

1Ti_6:12  Fight the good fight of the faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called when you made your good confession in the presence of many witnesses.

1Ti_6:21  which some have professed and in so doing have departed from the faith. Grace be with you all.

2Ti_2:18  who have departed from the truth. They say that the resurrection has already taken place, and they destroy the faith of some.

2Ti_3:8  Just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so also these teachers oppose the truth. They are men of depraved minds, who, as far as the faith is concerned, are rejected.

2Ti_4:7  I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.

Tit_1:1  Paul, a servant of God and an apostle of Jesus Christ to further the faith of God’s elect and their knowledge of the truth that leads to godliness–

Tit_1:13  This saying is true. Therefore rebuke them sharply, so that they will be sound in the faith

Tit_3:15  Everyone with me sends you greetings. Greet those who love us in the faith. Grace be with you all.

Phm_1:6  I pray that your partnership with us in the faith may be effective in deepening your understanding of every good thing we share for the sake of Christ.

Heb_4:2  For we also have had the good news proclaimed to us, just as they did; but the message they heard was of no value to them, because they did not share the faith of those who obeyed.

Heb_4:14  Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has ascended into heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess.

1Pe_5:9  Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of sufferings.

Jud_1:3  Dear friends, although I was very eager to write to you about the salvation we share, I felt compelled to write and urge you to contend for the faith that was once for all entrusted to God’s holy people.
